The Y-shaped Dual Sync Cord features Ikelite-style plugs on the strobe ends and a Nikonos-style plug on the housing end. It provides TTL operation with any compatible system featuring a Nikonos-style N5 TTL bulkhead and Ikelite strobe. The Ikelite-style plug is widely recognised as the most reliable waterproof strobe sync connection available. Built-in strain reliefs reduce stress on the cord ends, ensuring enhanced durability and performance.

Important Note: Dual Sync Cords must always be connected to a strobe at both ends while diving.

Updates

This cord is a direct replacement for the prior version (#4104.62). The Ikelite plugs now feature hard anodised aluminium fittings, making the cord significantly lighter while maintaining the same durability as the original nickel-plated brass product.

Compatibility

This cord is compatible with all Nikonos, film SLR, and digital DSLR cameras. Note: It is the recommended dual cord for Nikon DSLR housings with compatible Nikonos N5 bulkheads from Aquatica, Nauticam, SEA&SEA, Isotta, Subal, Seacam, and others.

Important: This cord requires the attachment of two strobes for waterproof operation. To shoot with only one strobe, use single sync cord #45231 instead.

Important: Meikon / Seafrogs housings use a non-standard Nikonos-type bulkhead, which is not compatible with this sync cord.
